Project 3.7.6: Delivery of social and economic indicators of water quality

Project 3.7.6 was amalgamated with Project 3.7.5 during Year 2 (2007/2008) of the MTSRF program.  Activities and funding for this project now sit under Project 3.7.5.

The two projects were combined in Year 2 to strengthen the delivery and outcomes for end-user needs regarding social and economic considerations for improving water quality in the Great Barrier Reef.

The amalgamation of these critical research components will result in greater benefit from the work conducted by enabling stronger linkages between catchment based activities, water quality and climate to be established and for the work to be expanded into Dry Tropics regions.

For a description of Project 3.7.6 and its objectives, see the Annual Research Plan for 2006/2007 (ARP1).
